Started T2 today on Extase and Siskin. 0.75l/ha of Revystar. Looking at the AHDB curves you need a lot of Ascra to do as well as Revystar at 50% rate on septoria. Raining every day here with it forecast to continue up to the weekend.

I think our T2 will be about a week away. Probably will work out ok as the weather isn’t settling down here until Tuesday anyway. Will see what our agronomist recommends. I must say that I don’t mind spending the money this year as the crops have some potential.

Had another look today and bugger me things have moved quickly this last few days. Flag leaf is 1/3rd to 1/2 out on October drilled Diego so I should get away with it next Tuesday/Wednesday, it'll be a tad early but not too far out.

Been recommended 1litre/ha, due to the recent weather and the 'dose response curves'.
Is 0.75 a sensible rate of revystar..what about resistance?

If next door are on at 0.75, and that sorts it this time but increase resistance, surely my 1lt is pointless as the weather just blows it all over the country anyway?

not in Shropshire!! us dry eastern boys will get away with that rate I believe
.....however if wet June forecast then I will up 1.0 lt/ha. Still not sure what to do, we are quite lucky though aren't we as they are all good products, can nearly flip a coin

Looks like weather improves from Tuesday, going with ascra here Wednesday onwards.

Lower rates are better for resistance management. Had the BASF rep on a recent NIAB call moaning about keeping rates up because of resistance. It's BS. The reverse is true. I confirmed with Bill Clark. I did 0.37l/ha topped up with teb for rust last year when the septoria disease pressure was low.
