You're loads further south than me. Our "beach" is actually a mudflat at the mouth of the Humber. North Norfolk is nice. I'll enhance the value of straw by putting my 115ac through the chopper this time.

although taking a 5 year old to a lovely white beach in Dominican Republic to be told "Daddy I prefer Sutton on Sea" was a tad frustrating.....could have saved about £5K lol

Just had Bayer Rapid disease detection results back from samples taken Tuesday. Both Extase and Graham showing 0 for yellow rust and septoria on leaf 2. T1 was applied 16 days before. Wondering how long I can hold off T2.

Same here, had a fairly robust late T1 so should have cover for another 10 days at least, by that time we might have some sort of idea what the weather may do.

considering higher rates of revistar in the past we always had ctl to help us out after the flag leaf had emerged
the saving grace is the very low disease levels up to leaf 3 emergance but because of slow growth i suspect we need every inch of the lower leaves to contribute to yield

I've spent plenty of incredibly sh!t holidays on the yorkshire coast. And yes, south coast better. That's as someone born in Yorkshire.

Regarding T2, it's all to play for with some good potential yields. I will be either Univoq as a bit of a trial or Revystar once all of the Adexar is used up.

Glad I with SDHI at T2 as had 88mm since then, GS39 looking sometime in next 7 days, will be 3 weeks on Friday since T1 - spend so far = £36/ha so assuming T3 is the same then 0.75 Revystar would make total spend £83/ha if up to 1.0 Revystar would be £91/ha I really don‘t have an issue with that especially on Kerrin. Bit different to last years £56/ha but we had 19mm in March, April and May combined……and I had CTL and Epoxi at my disposal. If we get sun in June/July during grain fill yield potential looks good

Also, I'd not be bothered about a £30/ha extra spent compared to last year given the crop prices.
