We used to put loads of bittersalz (5 kg per ha) in with the ear spray to improve grain fill but my new agronomist looked at me like I’d grown horns when I mentioned it last year.
Last year we had a fusarium nightmare and pink grains. I personally think a robust and timely ear spray is money well spent. Teb alone didn’t seem to be enough last year or maybe we just didn’t get it on quickly enough or harvested soon enough.

Controlling fusarium is best done with one’s fingers crossed. Hope this helps!

I wrote this elsewhere but wouldn’t it be good if the ahdb did something really useful with the levy mon
As mentioned bittersalts at t2 and T3 5kg each time and a good strobe make for good SW in my opinion.
Never bothered with a strob, just teb maybe plus poraz (banned now?!) t3 plus bittersalz and my specific weights are always good

Planning on 125g/ha teb and prothio in cheapest possible form when we get to that stage (Perthshire). Is there any mileage in doing a bit of strob, bearing in mind that our wheat harvest is already late august/early september.
I usually use a bit of bittersalz as well but we have good soil reserves of mg so seems a bit pointless but cheap insurance.
Teb/prothio/Mg would be £20/ha.

Not if your aiming to plant OSR after wheat. It’s tight enough window as it is, but I’ll be damned if I’ll ever grow barley just because “it’s a good entry for rape”…

Last of the T2 on today, a bit later than I'd have liked but hay ho.
It is a bit scarry how much rust is about on any spray misses!!!!😯 But also it shows how good a dose of teb is at T1.
