Wool Sacks. Have I missed out?

All I ever remember is wool sacks arriving unannounced on me doorstep each year. But this year nothing. Have I missed something? Or was the van hijacked on the way!? Maybe other farmers are driving up the value of wool by stopping me putting mine in!

If I have to fetch empty sacks then I will have to have a think if it is worth the hassle.

The new sheets have two very secure straps at each end.

And two prominent notices saying: ''Do not use the straps for lifting''. Twarts.
They went through a faze of cutting the handling strap off for that reason with ours, they aren't even heavy when they are full, just awkward to move so I don't get why they did it!

As far as I know shortly after the handles were first introduced, a haulier used them to climb up the side of his loaded wagon. One of them broke and he fell, injuring himself quite badly. He subsequently sued BWMB for providing unsafe equipment resulting in the board having no option but to remove all the handles. This caused uproar from producers so the only solution was to reintroduce the handles with the warning. Crazy but that’s the world we live in.

How many sheets are the minimum for peeps to be sent them? :scratchhead:
It's always been drop off full, take home the same number of empties, here ~ or in years when they've collected, drop by the depot to collect at some point afterwards.

......the handles are no good if you've got 192kg in one, you need the pallet tines :facepalm:

:playful::playful:

Wool board leave the bags here for about ten farms to collect. One takes about 65 bags normally but only took six last year and stored the rest,so they've only sent him six fresh ones. He's going to be happy 🤭
