Sprayer pressure delay setting in to work

Setting in from the headlands with 24m sprayer and switching on the booms the flow rate on the Rds takes 15 yards to come up to target rate of 150 Litres a hectare flow rate. I've put up with this since the first pre em and as a result the blackgrass is showing for the first ten yards inside the headlands.
Turning on the booms I need the 150 L flow rate to come up instantly. Ramsey valve is tightened up ok and new diaphragms fitted a month ago. Filling the sprayer with suction hose from tank outlet at ground level is painfully slow compared to last season so wondered if air is getting in on suction side of pump but short of tightening up the plastic nut on the hose end on top of pump and wrecking the thread is there anything else to look at.

Thanks for the book now filed away. I couldn't see anything in there to help overcome the problem.

Stupot how do I increase the min nozzle flo rate and adjust the on/off delay?

I could up the pressure on the button by say 10% before setting in each time to help.

Page 13, set the Nozzle lowest operating pressure as high as you can, this will give an immediate high pressure so when starting at headland it isn't having to ramp up from say 1.2 bar up to 3 bar. So set the lower pressure to perhaps say 2.5 bar. The sprayer will then very quickly get to the correct pressure.

Is the filter housing tight...they come loose by themselves, and a new o ring idealy.sounds like its, sucking air to me if slow filling.normally the filter ring is loose.and clean the mesh while messing with it.
