And Boris has gone back on his word that it's all opening, postponed another 2 weeks! All because he wanted to ingratiate himself with Modi. Clown!!
The trouble is he's ignored the advice or acted too slowly on it so often that he daren't ignore them now after all the trouble we've had.
Personally I can live with a delay as long as they don't take us back to lockdown, we can do almost anything now, just not in the way we would like to do it.

What a ridiculously considered comment. This pandemic is making judgements very tricky. Clearly the economy is important as is folks health so it’s a moving target. Your dislike of this administration and Brexit spills over in many of your posts - sadly

The Euro makes sense in a large trading area, you know exactly what you are paying without having the vagaries of Forex to worry about. The UK did not join as the thieving b@stards in the City of London would have lost out on a large potion of their spread rates when exchanging currency, along with the misery they poured on innocent business owners trying to make a living exporting, whilst the said b@stards played with currency like it was a game of monopoly.
Wrong the UK didn't join because they could see it was a blatant ploy by Germany with the aid of France to increase their competitiveness & allow them to export to the Southern EU countries, without the Euro the strong German Mark & French Franc would make their exports far too dear. There are only a few winners in this Euro exercise & no prizes for guessing who they are!!

You're absolutely right, unfortunately he's the sort of clown that's far more likely to make you cry rather than laugh, he's made the wrong call on virtually every decision he's made & will in future be remembered as such.
