Has anyone bought any new season nitrogen One rep told me he has more booked than last year. Another who I tend to believe said he has very few orders yet

been told it's going to rocket in price, as we now compete with the EU. If it doesn't sell in quantity, we may find out if that is true, or not. But we hear the same old story, every year, and never know if it's right or wrong ! We hedge, half in dec/jan, the rest in may, with the transport shortages, like to make sure some is in the shed, for when we want it.

If every ones buying it then wait as there will be less buyers in the autumn

Going to have to explain that one to me, when didn't we compete with the EU for fertiliser? Whilst in the EU did they just feel sorry for us and send over shipments of Lithan and Pulan cheap because they felt sorry for us or something?

when don't we hear all sorts of excuses, for higher prices, availability etc, brexit provides a 'new' excuse, one they haven't trotted out before.

Looks familiar, i took to getting a steel bar from the top of the bag and driving it down through, took me 30 minutes the other day to get 2 bags in the spinner, doing 1 at a time cause you don,t want 2 hanging when it won,t run!! i found the 25-5-5 s the worst for some reason.

I had great success by dropping the bags from about a foot off the ground onto concrete.
I’ve done that in the past, but our more modern loadall won’t allow such a sharp drop. So been using a wrecking ball technique swinging them into other bags…not getting as good results though

£299 was the last price I was offered. Won’t be buying early at these prices .

Yes, north of 300 for intramural now I think and CF pulling prices tomorrow I’ve just been told
