I don't believe that for one moment. They are light utility tractors that are relatively basic, but I that is what most people claim to want but seldom put their money where their mouths are. The Global Series are the modern day MF390 and 390Turbo equivalents and with better cabs and gearboxes. Stick a 5 ft drum mower, four rotor tedder, 8ft topper, roller or grass harrow on the back and they will be the boss. They are not meant to tow 12 ton trailers or use four furrow reversible ploughs; there are more suitable tractors in the range for those jobs.
Exactly. Horses for courses

Thats a blessing as the 8S will start to look old very quickly in my eyes.
8S Cab is a foot higher that it ever needs too be.
6S & 7S just a grey current 7700 series cab with the new armrest & poss rejigged control layout but same old everything else.
is it that bad? only if you wanted a 4 post cab i guess.
8S Dyna-vt rumored to be launched with higher HP.
Its taking them long enough

6 post cab isn't so bad I guess. Be better if they could make the B pillar narrower though.
8S going to 285 horse afaik

About the bigger models (probably only cvt) they will wait for the new engines I guess.
I've heard >300hp...

Well from what I was told there won't be. It'll look similar to the 5S and have a new armrest.

I would like to see the new one, probably smaller than 8s. With a modular concept different dimensions can be made.

I think the problem with the cab they have now is the quality of the plastics/spool layout are so poor compared to other makes. Have a MF 67 here and n4 valtra, the valtra is way ahead inside for quality. Anyone who drives a JD will notice straight away. MF have fallen along way back in that department. The 5s is no better at all in this respect. Personally I like the 6 post cabs though so not bothered about a 4 post setup.

The sunroof was ideal for that. Unfortunately they ain’t been standard fitment since the 6200 series.
Last brand new tractor I bought was part of a stock order so doesn’t have one and I doubt I’ll be able to justify a brand new one again
Never trusted them side window hinges seen a few snap.
Sunroof is only good if its not a real warm sunny day & or its not a dusty job ya doing.
thankfully ive always specced that very cheap roof hatch on new ones.
It doesnt even open the other way on current models anymore

I meant ours sorry 🤦🏻
Not a problem I've seen them breaking like that cousin did his when he closed it on a screwdriver im thinking it was a pressure build up inside the cab as it was sitting in direct sunlight all day it seams to have blown outward as nearly all the glass is out side the cab there was very little inside the annoying thing was I've been working on the other tractor beside it taking off a fan belt went to dealer far belt and when i came back the window had gone so had to go back for one
