Time will tell I guess. I'm what 3 months from my first sale. Hopefully prices might go up a bit.
I hope they will for you. For a rearers point of view i think if the beef price is here to stay the cheaper average calves will leave a better margin for them and be less of a financial risk than these £400+ reamers. Not the grass rats though, more the friesian bull types if they can be found

Doing some research now, getting all professional 🤣. That's a £414 av for blue bulls, with upper end £500+.
