If its pasture master you've got, it's not anything like Thistlex

Pasture master we had here last year was a MCPA & 24D mix, a chemical topper basically.

Will kill creeping thistle this year, but they'll be back full strength next year, but so will the clover, where as thistlex nails the clover

Too late in the season now but mcpa will kill spear thistle in their second year sprayed a couple of months ago or so they would be gone now well before they had chance to set seed.
Same as above clover will survive it ...but it gets a hammering mind.

Yes sorry my mistake I’ve just looked back at his text the pasture master was instead of polo which is as you say mcpa and 2-4d will have to look in Chem store in the morning to find what the thistlex equivelent is called

Yep same here, pasture master replaced Headland polo, great for annual and bi-annual thistles 👌

When I tried to get Thislex earlier in the season I was told it was because of the hold up in containers after the Suez blockage. There is still shortages of chemicals from China because of hold ups in container ports so this may be the reason it install hard to find.
