Rear double bale handlers.

Looking at rear double bale handlers, (should have a few months ago but here we are....) have quite a few places where it would be just as easy to just ferry them as they are rather than use a trailer. How do these things cope with hay or straw bales? Only concern is they may want to slide off going up a hill? Looking to move non wrapped and wrapped with one tool if at all possible. Tipping feature could be handy.

Have come across these 2, like the build quality of both Nugent and Fleming, same price. Anybody dealt with Multec before?
NUGENT Double Bale Lifter - Multec Ltd
Fleming HD Double Bale Tipper - Multec Ltd

Also like the look of this as my thinking would be it may 'pinch' 2 hay bales together to stop them sliding off?
Fleming Hydraulic Double Bale Transporter - Multec Ltd

Or any other suggestions welcome. Thanks muchly!

I have one of these, I bought it from @smcapstick but not sure if he is still on here

Brilliant machine, so simple and clever in the way it works
I have a single bale fleming and its fine but not as good as the Zagroda
It was a fair bit cheaper then the others I priced up at the time

do you use it on a front end loader or rear linkage? Thinking of one to go on a front loader but not sure on visibility and how it works

We have a lwc on the front and a Fleming on the back, the geometry is different believe it or not as the front one you want it to lift and tilt back at the same time. As mentioned earlier a hydraulic top link is very handy. We never use trailers now but fairly handy leads.

I was mulling over a pair of these as slightly cheaper than some and theoretically narrower in empty transport as the units can swing inwards. Am I missing something and how much are we guessing linkage brackets would add to the cost?

I use it on the back, you could use it on the front and with a bit of skill you could stack them

yes it is narrower when empty which is good when going down the road
It was actually cheaper than the rest at the time around £650 IIRC about 5 years ago

It is one of the best things I have bought, I was a bit sceptical about how it worked before I got it but its so simple, just drop it on the ground back up toward the bales and as you back up the arms open up as they run along the ground when under the bales just lift it up and the arms swing in and lift the bale

Multec want £230 more for the Fleming tipper than what we paid a few months ago.
I'd avoid the Fleming transporter if you want to stack bales on their round because there's a gap between the bales. This also makes it wider if you have narrow lanes or confined yards to deal with.

I always thought the folding ones would be handy for the front when travelling to the field empty.
never seen one in action though.

Regardz multec, fair play to them for putting prices on their website, but they are not competitive with our local dealers.

Only thing about the Individual lift models I dislike is the bales are not as close together in the stack.

Definitely alot speedier though.

I bought a shop soiled nugent and it does an excellent job.

We use it for short moves or to heap the bales up to make loading a trailer quicker.

Mount it either on front or rear and does work best with hydraulic top link.
