Tou can have them back 🙈😂

It's that bad I had to send my relief off to minor injuries with a suspected broken hand after 2 sides on friday, luckily just bruised and very swollen, and that was from a cow that I've never seen so much as twitch in the parlour! I reckon I put 200 clusters on last night and I'm only milking 70 😭

Strangest part was Thursday night there was hardly a fly around! Normally they build their numbers up and give some kind of warning 😡
like a lot of farmers, we never start fly control early enough, our vets do a 'control' plan, with parasitic wasps, but some down, at regular intervals. Haven't done it here, nor many others, but it is meant to work well, but should have stated early may, they keep on top then, now is to late, numbers have built up.

You let the neighbours run your farm?

Didn't notice the G7 conference leaving Cornwall early just because the locals were unhappy about if, or tourists staying away because they spread covid (as well as clogging the roads and their holiday parks ruining more scenery than farmers ever have) China clay industry never apologises for the St Austell Alps or white rivers.

Farming must be the only industry that apologises for doing it's job
Just about any form of industry is under the screw these days in regard to noise levels, smells, dust etc, everything from quarries being restricted on blasting, to shops having to quieten refrigeration compressors that have been in place for years. Our local gravel pit has to run a "local liaison panel" just to be seen to be doing the "right thing", I attended once representing our village, couldn't believe that there were representatives not only from the villages immediately affected, but also others up to 5 miles away that it had no effect on at all.

What does everyone do with the air bubble in orbeseal tubes? Dried a batch off this morning and just thinking it’s a really poor part of an otherwise good product, surely they just need to put it in a slightly smaller tube. Oh then there’s the heap of useless wipes that are just a complete waste of time, we’re supposed to be saving the planet and they’re wasting resources on those…

Noroseal have smaller tubes, which is a help, the wipes are better too. I think someone on here had the idea of standing the tubes up to get the air at one end so you can eject the air first.

Re the bubble. if you put the tubes somewhere warm, with the tip pointing upwards, for a few days, the air bubble will come out before the Orbeseal and the sealant remains near the orifice where it should be. I always store mine pointing upwards.

But I've never noticed it in other sealant brands

It'll be there I suspect, other brands tend to use a short/wider tube. So it may not be as obvious.

Look at any packaged good. They all have some sort of air pocket. Grab a bottle of pen+strep and have a look. A bag of cereal or the king of disappointing packages, a bag of crisps 😄.
I can't think of any examples that are filled to the brim. So I assumed my info to be correct.

Footballs… in my experience they’re full of air.

We’d be lucky to get that growth in 30 days at the moment 🤷🏻‍♂️ Supposed to get lots of rain this weekend and week nothing so far 👎🏻
Wow. We're in a moisture deficit in Ireland, some rain the last few days but grass is really slow here.
Changed quick here this last week, were topping up with bales that we made earlier on 2 weeks ago. Got a bit of fert on before the rain and seems to have taken off again
