Grazon is the best but it's bloody exoensive
I've not done the course, so wouldn't spray nor know what it covered. I'm just amazed that someone can be considered and cerified as competent to do so when the basics obviously aren't there.
Don't let it worry you , feel free to pm me if you need some advice are you not sure if the forum police [emoji599] will pick up on it [emoji1787]I didn't say I was competent or able, hence why I am double checking the rates etc.
There are lots of things do on the farm that I am neither certified or able to do but seem to manage just fine.
You should get a job for the council, they spend their lives telling me what I should and shouldn't do rather than doing the job they are overpaid to do.

This is good advise, just check label first to see what the water volume istake your sprayer and spray approx ha , steady speed (google maps) see how much water you have used , then put 1l in that volume ,
I thought you hadn't done the course.I'll ignore the personal insults, as I think that safety is more important than my fragile ego.
The application rates depend on your ground speed, the sprayer boom width, nozzle flowrates and the dilution rate. If you don't tell us the first three then the fourth can't be advised.
But if you're as incompetent, uncertified and unable as you indicate, then best not to be playing with dangerous chemicals and pay someone to do it properly.

I'm severely dislexic, I've sprayed acres and acres with roundup , but always have to check application rates and when I can cut afterWe get these questions all the time. It easy to take for granted when you do it all the time, but easy to forget when you don't do it every year.
Plus the difference between spot and full hectare. Personally I think the mixing rate should still be the same, you will just cover more hectares. This is what you do for mainstream cereals that use tech like blueriver (might not be the right name).
Some people think they know what to do and just want that to be confirmed.

No, only the guy applying it needs the tificates. The purchaser doesn’t need to know such details as application rates, water volume, etc, that’s down to the qualified person using it, through his MOT’ed sprayer.
If it’s a contractor, or a FA arable farmer, he may have needed to accrue some points too, by be8ng a member of TFF, attending the Cereals event, or going to a few bun fights organised by the local agrochemical supply company.

I couldn't get any Thistlex. I'm told that if you mix Grazon Pro or Buster with Dow Shield in the right proportions it's the same thing .We also get that a lot on Farm Marketplace, the person buying the product, isn.t the one spraying it. So they have no idea how much to buy or that there is a limit per hectare.
Regard the OP has does well to get Thistlex, its in short supply this year.
