We had demo of this last weekend for silage, to be honest I only got to drive it taking it back to dealer but first impression I thought it looks fantastic, some say they would have the grill black but triviality imo , first time I’ve driven a VT and thought it great, sorry I can’t give a more in-depth review but like I say I only drove it home.

Good tractor or not, I wonder what the resale value of the new McC's and Landinis will be like? I'm guessing terrible.

Hire or rent the tractor ,fully warranted for a few years then probably fine..long term ownership? As they sell so few in the UK..10 to 20 years time....how many on here would be able to help sort out a problem? Or even any independent mechanics. I like to be different, but lots to be said for mainstream popular models of tractors, if only for the availability of secondhand and copy parts .

We have a good local dealer that seems to me to be very committed to McCormick, selling quite a few as well.

Agg profits are a bit shyt I’d have thought something built out of good parts like zf and fpt that was a bit cheaper would fly off the shelf !

Ag profits are shyt because people are spending their incomes on unnecessarily expensive main brand machinery instead of looking at cheaper alternatives which might leave them a bit more profit....... probably
