If its stuck out enough, weld a threaded bar to it and use a slide hammer to pull it out

Saw a Claas fitter do it,drive a chisel/wedge under the head of the key then drive the sprocket further on to the shaft. Key came out, piece of p!$$

That’s usually the way, have also had to use a G clamp to hold the drift tight and square, then if it didn’t move thumping it on then pull the lot off with the pullers & the drift keeps the key from getting tighter, bit of heat helps sometimes too.
We bought a s/h baler and the sprockets must have been hammered on by some monkey, ended up having to cut about 4 off.

I couldn't move this one so he came out and said " watch and learn " . Gave one big smack with a big clubby hammer and the sprocket went further on by about 3/4" and the key came out in his hand
Hit gear on, didn't just pop out but got it out. Needed alot of heat to move the gear which doesn't go well with balers and hay knocking about. Just the gear to pull off now, borrowed some big puller's so here's hoping it won't be too bad

Yes that how to get the key out, hit them in and the key nearly falls out. On my 250 anyway.
