Weird french diesel

So bought over the freelander 2 60 reg this year due to it being a bit bigger .

Anyway the french fuel seems to make my fuel gauge go mental , did the same last year , fill up and the gauge drops to 3/4 , and so on
Just done it again , had 1/4 full then gauge drops to nil as does the range on the ecu

Then sometimes the gauge will start climbing , Heard reports it's the ultra low sulphur diesel

When I returned last year and put UK fuel in never had another problem all year

Bloody odd

Its a Freelander, wouldn't worry too much about dodgy fuel gauge, it will be the least of your mechanical issues.

Does it work OK in reverse ? My Manitou only goes backwards. Surrender mode.

Also I should think having your Country invaded and hammered into the ground would focus the mind somewhat and no people in any occupied country, ever, would even consider a cheap jack comment of that type..

Just last week we did a return we need to do regarding fuel, last year, a normal year, we used 21,500 lts...
Without a problem.

So how do you get on picking things up with it ? I would think its challenging but not impossible, the four wheel steer and telescopic boom will be of advantage.

Thousands and thousands of ''frogs'' in the resistance helped many many britsh airmen to return to uk or to remain safe after crash landing in occupied France. They knew if they got caught they would be killed. Yep, that sounds like giving up to me.

anyway, back to thread. I have been over to France countless times in various vehicles. They have all been Diesel. None have suffered with funny fuel gauges?
