Started project 956 last night, all red parts are getting resprayed along with doors. Fixing a few oil leaks as well. 540/65R38 tyres being fitted too

What is the correct colour for a 1990 956 rims? Seen some all silver, silver rears and black and silver front, and seen some with all black dishes and silver rims?

All silver I think.
If the mudguard extensions are red then you will have black centres.

Had a talk to my mechanic today! Not so keen on doing the TA, so just gonna run it for now then see what winter brings and try to get it fixed in high if the success rate is not good,

That looks a lot better. 1.7% lead so spot on.
Just remembered that I said I'd measure the fronts on the 844, completely forgot and I had a wheel off to replace a seal in the axle!
Was originally gonna go for 540 and 480 as we spoke about but decided to go for these as reckoned be abit handier in sheds and better if we ever wanted to stick a plough on.
Your fine about measuring the fronts, I forgot too 😂
