I've just been looking through this week's Farmers Guardian, and saw three quotes from members of the 'TFF Grass Roots Group' in the first couple of pages.

If there are a group of people that purport to represent us, then shouldn't we at least know who they are?

What are they talking about?

There was one quote on a piece about a carbon footprint report, and a couple more in a piece about LIS.

I don’t necessarily disagree with their comments, just that we, as TFF members, are being represented by persons unknown.
Unelected people representing us, @Clive will have a fit!

I bet they have a large asset base and a payroll of staff as well!

Disgusting behaviour 🙊

Must be a closed message group.... I wasn't invited! Possibly wisely....

It doesn't matter if I was or not. The point is that unknown individuals are apparently speaking for us. I don't know if they represent anyone's particular view, or just puppets for a carbon trading organisation, regenerative farming zealots or the Soil Association?

Whoever 'they' are, they are speaking for you, me, and everyone else that is a member of this forum.
