Straw bales

Got the chance of buying some straw in the swath and or bales in the field, depending on the weather.Just after a couple of ball park figures for winter wheat straw. It’s a very good crop so roughly how many 4ft round bales (roller) and 80/90 8ft should I expect per acre, just after a rough idea as I’ve always bought from merchants in winter and this is all new to me, cheers

I’ve just paid £80 for round bale wheat out of Goostrey Produce Auction. Nice barley was late 80’s- £100
Wheat £80 & £90
Small bale wheat £120
Nice round bale hay £86 (took 2 go’s of selling too get it away)

How many wheat to the tonne? Much in, Nigel on form was he?
