leaking oil? i had a fuel return pipe one and some oild too but cant remeber the oil one, think it was a spray from somewhere. fuel pipe one was interesting, was sore on diesel that day with the 3125 with twin tanks but caught on after the first 2 hours.

Good news it was actually a coupler on the valve chest that was leaking, the oil was running down on top of the back end. My next big problem is the lift arms. They will work on the manual buttons beside the back window the two LEDs will light when the arms are moving but other than that there is no life in the control box at all. The fuse at the front and the one under the console are both good. I'm getting 12.5 volts on pins 16 and 14 on the harness when using a multimeter. Any ideas on what to check next?

I can't remember if there's a initial energise sequence for the MF, most other electronic lift arm controls have a sequence you have to go through before the switch in the cab to work. Class, down button then move the height dial, Renaults, down then up then neutral.
Best check the manual

Sorry I forgot to report back earlier I managed to get the elc working. I snipped some wires that were bypassing the box and taking power directly to the two buttons at the rear of the console. While checking terminals inside the box with a probe everything suddenly started to work again. My theory is that the box wasn't waking up properly and accidentally woke it up while testing. Either way it working perfectly now so I'm quite pleased with myself;)

without high jacking the thread but I’m sure @SuperTwo will be interested to know he’s not the only one. This came this morning, need a few bits sorting but it’s fairly straight to be fair

the Clutch is sharp, so I’m hoping re-gassing the accumulator will sort that, it needs a solenoid for the hi low and there’s a weeping seal on the assister ram. Other than that its only cosmetic. It’s only done 7500hrs so is a fairly good one

Wet clutch and closed center hydraulics then?
I'm in the middle of changing the seals in my assistor ram also. The rod won't pull out so I am assuming there is a snap ring that needs to be taken off through the fitting. That's tomorrows job after work.

She’s wet clutch I’m sure of that, closed centre hydraulics? Dont know tbh, how do you tell the difference? Won’t really affect anything this tractor will do either way I would think

you bought this off northern plant trading ? Aka sm capstick?? looks a nice machine ! Hope it does you well
Yeah I bought it off mr capstick, had been looking for another tractor but after a headgasket going yesterday morning I was forced to do something quick. I’ve dealt with Stephen before and after explaining the situation we struck a deal and sent a wagon for it this morning. I wish everyone I dealt with was as straight and accommodating as him
