Looking at a new 'farmer-sized' SPFH. The Claas 840 is 400 HP, JD 8100 380, both smallest models. Had a price for the Claas, JD yet to quote. If prices are similar, which way to jump? Both dealers are local and excellent.
(Forage wagon or contractors won't work for us).

Claas but if I had an experienced operator who new the Deere's inside out and preferred them over Claas I'd go Deere.
Wont go far wrong with either of them.
What's the pilot say?
