Great idea but would it handle a thick heavy wet swath. Acrobats work good until your in clay then the tines get mud from the wet under the swath on them and tangle up.
The thicker the crop the better it seems to work.
We trialled a few different setups for the support arm and found it was best underneath contrary to what you'd think

Dave w. Interesting Phiber made rower upper out here that was plastic finger on a conveyor belt the pick alfalfa up gently without leaf loss and merge the swaths. Very gentle and set right it would turn a swath upside down. New Holland and very similar to yours except the auger was replaces by a conveyor belt

We had a new one of those the year I left school , it was my job to turn the outside of the fields in to make fire breaks ready for stubble burning .

Never done this task before so got the contractor to help. Used our single rotor rake driving just off the L of the swath. JD 6220p was in E3 gear running at tickover with 540e pto speed. Unbelievably fast found speed. This moved the swath over and we didn’t seem to lose much straw in the process.
