Moving a 20ft high Steel bin w/o dismantling??

Got a few corrugated steel bins (20ft high 60t capacity, I think). Wanting to move them out of a dutch barn a short distance perhaps for glamping.

Do you think it is possible to move them without dismantling - say hoisting them up with a long telehandler arm??

Presume they haven’t got roofs as inside, if they have, no problem.
Will have trouble lifting without roofs, as have no integrity,

Great pic. Thanks. Yes no roof. Will they be that weak??
Will need roofs putting on them w/o spending a fortune. Any ideas appreciated? Prob be able to pull them out of the shed then move it once roof is on.

If they have a roof use a wheel and tire to lift from the centre hole. If no roof put two spreader bars across in a cross formation with rings attached. Lift there and not the bin as it will tear out any holes. Top sheets are thinnest. If you can’t get above to lift make a skid to place under the bin and slide it out. Might be less pi55ing around that way. Seen a number of big grain bins converted into houses locally. I’ve two here I’ve insulated. One is for my kids chicken coop and a smaller 14 ft diameter one as a dog house. Both have electric heat and running water. Chicken will get ac for next year I think.

We moved three bins about 500 yards back in 2004 lifted by a 25? T excavator, carried them to our new yard as wet bins. They had roofs and hopper bottoms so were very sound structurally.
I think you might be better to either scrap yours or dismantle to add height and get some secondhand with roofs from @grainboy !

If its not going to be used for grain again couldnt you brace with wooden props and coach screw through the sides of the bin and lift by placing maybe two girders underneath with long chains up through the bin?🤷‍♂️

Yep maybe semi-dismantle. Finding a roof will be tricky I suspect @grainboy

I moved a 15 foot high by 18 foot one but it had a roof, picked it up with two loaders with pallet forks to move it out of a yard and through a 12 foot gateway then tipped it on its side on a low loader on the road and brought it home, a mate was driving and I stayed on top and trimmed the oak trees,
Amazing what can be done with just the right amount of stupidly
