Is this normal for wheat?

We grew a small area of Insitor this year and it appears to have done ok. My only question is there are a lot of small caramel coloured grains in the sample. What causes this? It was grown next to Barrell and it’s all normal.

this year weve found the hard wheats have more pinched grains gleam/gravity although have higher bushel weight ( both soft and hard well over the standard) against the softs skyscraper/saki with the later having the boldest grains , in terms of yield/acre highest skyscraper ,joint second saki and gravity ,lowest gleam by enough to put us off growing a big acerage . The saki could have done better if bits hadnt been underwater in the spring but it survived tillered well and stayed clear of disease so will get an increase in acres

Is your bushel weight ok on the saki? Ours is very disappointing compared to every other variety

You should be ashamed….your carbon capture crop hasn’t performed correctly. However, the lack of carbohydrate in that sample will have necessarily increased it’s protein content .Millers that are not concerned with your farms carbon footprint may well be interested in it!
