I've withdrawn my wheat offer price, new price list on Monday...

...I'll be withdrawing it again on Wednesday...

...then I'm going to shut down production and sales until further notice, as my input fertiliser price is too high.

If only we had a trade association where we could go out for dinner, then decide not to deliver our contract wheat due to "force majeure" but offer the very same wheat for £20 a ton extra?

For £20 a ton it would hardly be worth the hassle, and force majeure is supposed to cover only an entirely unforeseeable "unknown unknown" event (like the cessation of fertilizer production).

Is anyone going to avoid buying cf fertiliser

Haven’t dealt with them since they sent me 500ac worth of crap Nitrogen that wouldn’t spread properly. Eventually after proving the machine had been tray tested independently and getting the fertiliser tested independently they back tracked and gave me my money back but they wriggled so much it was clear to see what type of company they are.

Haven't bought Yara/Terra/Growhow/CF since 2008, when they doubled the price of 'blue bag' just as the price of grain crashed.
Increased cost of fert: £16,000.
Profit (loss) for the year: -£16,000
f**k them.
