First aid kit for tractor/vehicles

Does anyone have any recommendations for first aid kits for carrying on farm machines.

I'm a bit of a klutz and always injuring myself and would like to be able to help if ever came upon a accident where someone else hurt.

Contents need to have eye wash/patch, burn cream, and probably with putting a tourniquet bandage in also. Then general plasters

I have this basic one in all vehicles

Basic cheapies will tick a box but I would get a box a make the contents up with quality gear if you're serious.

Other thing if you want it for yourself keep it somewhere it can be accessed easily as possible

Was thinking it might be better in my grub bag and just have 1.

Depends where I'm working though. Some days I get home for lunch.

I’ve bought them from amazone.4 person first aid kits.keep one in my truck so I’ve got it when out with digger and another lives in my telehandler and another in the workshop.the gorilla wipes are handy too as are wet wipes which I also got everywhere too.

Did a first aid course ran by a guy in the army. He had some interesting methods of treating injuries. Have some Israeli bandages at farm. They would be essential.

Got some anti clotting powder. He showed us a video from the US army where they cut open a pig, then healed it again with anti clotting powder. It looked like it formed cement when mixed with blood. Its bloody expensive though.

I'm on blood thinners so seem to bleed for a while when I get cut.

British army first day in med training. Win the fight then treat wounded otherwise chances are you get shot

if you are always hurting yourself do you think you are safe with a first aid kit?

You’d be better off getting one of those sheltered housing community alarm emergency cords fitted in the cab!

If you can find a good place for them - always the hard part - put one in each vehicle (along with a fire extinguisher if you can) then you know you have one for the rare times they are needed.
Its not a bad idea to have a separate bag with a few plasters and some wipes in it so you can easily sort out small cuts without raiding the first aid kit, as they don't tend to get restocked after small items are taken out.

Was told by the HSE that first aid kits should be binned after 5 years if used or not
