We used Proclus plus Regatta (exactly the same as Liberator as I recall) last year on our worst blackgrass fields. Difficult to say whether it made any difference really but we still had some blackgrass. A bit like Vigon before it (which had an active called flurtamone) which we were also never entirely sure had a great deal more success than just straight flufanacet and dff.
Certainly wouldn't put anyone off using it but it is no magic cure for blackgrass.
Seems like the grass weed in wheat product that they were hoping to get approved this year (think it was called Luximo) has been held up by the approval process and Covid etc.

Sounds like you have a similar thinking agronomist to me....!
Whilst ffct is the mainstay of BG control still, it is losing efficacy, I've two fields next to each other.
One has had plenty ffct each wheat crop over the years since available, the other had mostly Atlantis. Both have Atlantis resistance, but the one which has had less ffct is much cleaner than the other each year now.
I can only assume it's because of ffct resistance.

I'm going to give Atlantis a whirl spring 2022. None used before on my farm.

How much more was it per acre? How badly did it knock the crop over hatra?

I'm hoping that, not having used it, or at least one field has it in 2011, that it should do ok. Will be the fanciest stuff.
I forget money wise. I didn't think the crop effects were any worse. Tank mixed with 0.3liberator......
Spring application on Dec drilled WW pleased with control and yield.

Bandur is the European brandname for Emerger which is also the same as Proclus - All Bayer brands.

Ok, so Liberator is standard. Is Regatta one of these exclusive distributor only products?
Same with Bandur, is Proclus the “proper” mainstream name?

As I understand it, the product comes as a twin pack - was easier for BAYER to get registration that way. So different distributors have their own version of the twin pack. The flufanact/DFF component will be Liberator or Regatta, haven't heard of any other brand but may be. The Aclinofen component is as Proclus or Bandur - maybe some other names I am not aware of. Rate is same regardless. 0.6 + 1.4. So not complicated just have to ask for confirmation of the product names, rates and per hectare price at full rate for comparison.
I am wary of the stuff as last year a farm I go to we used Regatta + Proclus and it sludged up the sprayer - but because operator didn't clean sprayer in the evening when ending his day - as he didn't for the Crystal DFF he had been on. Bayer have now got quite prescriptive sprayer cleaning recommendations with the product.

Yes, I am aware of that, but they are completely different active ingredients. Proclus is aclonifen. Luximo is cinmethylin. Not just different manufacturers.
