Europe’s Power Crisis Is Moving North as Water Shortage WorsensNever been to Norway. Nice to see we have put a good deal in place with a cable to protect us from the oncoming gas shortages. Scandies are probably our more common neighbours than those down south.
Do you really want to be involved with such a left wing socialist country?Never been to Norway. Nice to see we have put a good deal in place with a cable to protect us from the oncoming gas shortages. Scandies are probably our more common neighbours than those down south.
Norway is a free and fully functioning democracy, it's nothing to do with us what government its people choose. It's not like, ooh let's have a think... China under the CCP, a brutal and aggressive totalitarian dictatorship - now, cosying up to that lot would be immoral.Do you really want to be involved with such a left wing socialist country?
Just do what Finn's have done with communists in the past...Do you really want to be involved with such a left wing socialist country?
What, like NZ?Do you really want to be involved with such a left wing socialist country?

I’ve lost count of the number of times I have been to Norway, it would be at least 15, we have many long standing family friends there and my father spoke Norsk fluently, I have a reasonable understanding of what makes Norway tick, it is a fantastic amazing country with many similarities to NZ, they both have fairly egalitarian societies, the people are friendly and quite laid back, politically Norway runs along Socialist lines, they are in the unique position of being able to afford to, whereas New Zealand under the current regime is heading towards a marxist state. What, like NZ?
As Norway is in the EEA it is subject to a significant number of EU directives and regulations and pays almost as much per capita as the UK did for full membership.Norway is a free and fully functioning democracy, it's nothing to do with us what government its people choose. It's not like, ooh let's have a think... China under the CCP, a brutal and aggressive totalitarian dictatorship - now, cosying up to that lot would be immoral.
What? And when?Just do what Finn's have done with communists in the past...
I gather you are about to defend them because you have all the answers but are seldom right.Come on guys! It’s another glorious opportunity to blame Blair and Brown. Get stuck in….

At least there was a debate and vote on it.I know you don’t want to hear it, BUT, when Blair made his false case for war in Iraq, he failed to convince a very large cohort of his own government party, who voted against his motion in the Commons.
But not to worry, the Tories and DUP, were never going to miss out on the chance to go to war. It was they who enabled Britain’s illegal war, along with Blair of course.
Just sayin….
