It’ll be worth risking a few ruts and driving on with the slurry tanker I think .
Slurry will get dear

Any gods amount around here . And digestate .Slurry will get dear
It will if we all clamour to buy in somebody else's waste disposal problems.Slurry will get dear
My neighbours doing that , can't wait .It’ll be worth risking a few ruts and driving on with the slurry tanker I think .
We’ve done that for a few years, works well. I wouldn’t do it on land with no structure though. It’ll be worth risking a few ruts and driving on with the slurry tanker I think .
Wouldn’t bother with nitrogen then just plaster on bothAny gods amount around here . And digestate .
Maybe pick your fieldsMy neighbours doing that , can't wait .
Maybe pick your fields
my pig farmer neighbour has one field of barley and all it gets is a big dose of slurry, often quite late.
I combine it, and it’s never far away from my yield. I think last year it was better.
That is the big problem . How are you applyingAdmittedly it was 30 years ago, but our local estate were using their pig slurry for top dressing. Their crops were either yellow or flat
I had a bit play with Turkey muck this spring, stupidly never left a control strip but without having a yield metre it would only be a guestimate anyhow. It’ll be worth risking a few ruts and driving on with the slurry tanker I think .

Use umbilical system = no rutsAny gods amount around here . And digestate .
I think there is a lot more to be done on the umbilical systems and high fert prices combined with the loss autumn application will see some some stellar leaps in how we do it.Use umbilical system = no ruts
Properly a stupid question. But is there a reason why you cannot up the seed rate of winter wheat. Say 300 kgs/hec and reduce nitrogen use and still get a the same tillers a metre. Or am I wrong in thinking that.
Looks like we are getting shafted for our own gasWas quoted 460€ for 33.5%, but that was last week.
