So, red diesel has almost doubled in price, fertiliser similar, energy prices skyrocketing, meal prices through the roof, should we expect to see a 25-30% increase in our base prices this month to cover our costs.......?
Personal prediction is be no more price rise for while as the winter bonus is round the corner so they wont give us more.

Don’t say that, sounds like acceptance. Needs a rise and I think there will be one, discontent starting to build in the country.

Bit of gossip, not from a tanker driver but a cardboard box maker.lol Couple of milk companies orders for boxes through the roof, so must be plenty of demand for product to justify rising farmgate price.

Would 10p ever be noticed ontop of the current price of milk on the shelf for the consumers personally i don't think so. Why can this not be added on by all companies to go straight to the producer ontop of there base price ?
Liquid milk is a very small proportion of milk sales in NI. Straight out of the Dale Farm reps training manual.
