Coldplays world tour.

They’re “powering the concert” with a combination of a giant mobile battery, and “a floor that captures the kinetic energy of the crowd”.

But the battery will need to be charged, so why not just power the concert direct from the grid and cut out the ‘battery’?
And both the massive battery and ‘floor’ will need to be hauled across the Americas and Europe in multiple trucks and shipping containers. And as mentioned already, Chris Martin is refusing to give up his private jet for the duration of the tour.
So instead of his planned attempt to greenwash his carbon footprint, it has highlighted the fact that he’s nothing more than just another virtue signalling celebrity desperate for attention.

If you want to see the very definition of ‘greenwashing’ and ‘virtue signalling’, take a look at their web site 🤮

Just the sort of thing you'd expect. Blokes a dick. Music to commit suicide to.
A dick you say... here's proof..

I have never liked Coldplay, the most dreary, boring, miserable band since Radiohead. Who in the world thinks they are entertainers or that Chris Martin is a showman? Bon Scott was a show man, officially died at 33 from misadventure, Jimmy Hendrix, died 27, Jim Morrison died 27, Janis Joplin Died 27, Elvis, died 42; These my friends are Showmen (and women). If Chris Martin is so bothered about climate change he should have f**king died 17 years ago and been a proper rock and roller instead of becoming the part time champagne soaked recycled wingy moany hippy(cryte) he has turned into.

If touring is so bad for the climate just don’t do it Chris, it’s not like your music is any good, kinetic dance floor? My fooking arse, which Coldplay song makes you want to put down the prescription pills and razor blade and move your body? I haven’t heard it. Virtue signalling bell end.

Shame trees are more trendy than species rich grassland. Bloody country will be awash with trees in 30 years time, whereas the better option for carbon sequestration will be grassland.
For the record, not a fan of Coldplay, Marmite or Marmalade
I doubt these areas planted with trees will even have many trees on them in 30 years ,
It will more likely be a weed fest wildernesses because there will be no maintenance to all these plantations and they will mostly all go to sh!t.

But apart from that, you love Coldplay, right?

I’m no fan, and my daughter wasn’t really but went to see them with friends and thought the show was incredible.

He is a bell end though, 100%

So he ain’t giving up his private jet, is highly unlikely to be planting these trees himself and has made no mention and presumably made no provision for how these trees are to be looked after once planted.
As for his kinetic dance floor, I wonder how much carbon footprint it will save versus how much the carbon footprint of making it and transporting it around the world along with those needed to set it up, I don’t suppose he’ll be doing it himself, will be.

He’s a virtue signalling hypocrite, using his wealth to make him feel good about himself and as PR to attract folk to his concerts to increase his wealth.

Post of the year.
Christ alive, I thought I was the biggest Coldplay hater on the planet. Seems like I now occupy the silver medal position.
