Hi, Can somebody tell me if this is trustworthy dealer : www.rail-plant.com RAIL & PLANT SOLUTIONS LTD ? I Haven’t been able to find any information on it yet so hoping you guys know something. I was in contact with them with someone called Lucas Martins and they told me that all the machinery are located in Spain, and from here I had suspicions, an English company but with the yard in Spain.
Maybe there is someone located in East Street, Faversham, Kent, England, ME13 area who can provide more information ? Thank you!

Not the first thread we have seen of this type and being a skeptical sort I detect a distinct odor of manure...

If you fall for those prices you deserve what you get IMO. £17.200 for a 2011 John Deere 6430 Premium :cool::cool:

A very quick check online...

Companies House Link: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07153914

Note that there is an application to remove the company from Companies House

VAT Register Check: https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/check-vat-number/known (VAT number: GB987736448)

Different address registered for VAT and where the business is registered at Companies House, but the same as where the two Directors have listed their names. Without checking, these could be virtual offices or similar.

Names given on the company website, match those listed as Directors at Companies House, photographs could be anyone and require confirmation.

Scam Adviser: https://forum.scamadviser.com/d/242-scam-fraud-wwwrail-plantcom-rail-plant-solutions-ltd

A posting online is a very good warning, but not conclusive that it is a scam - there is always the possibility that this could be a malicious post by a disgruntled customer, business rival, etc..

More checks are definitely required, there is some legitimacy (registered at Companies House, at the moment, and VAT registered) but there are also "red flags". So it depends on how much you want to do business with this company as to whether you invest any time researching/due diligence them.

You could save yourself time and look elsewhere...

Don't be silly. Accounts to end feb of this year show stocks of £200. The website is a scam.

Quite possibly, but those figures don't actually prove anything. Some businesses make a nice tidy "loss" at the end of the FY.

They have been registered paying VAT since 2009, and registered at Companies House since 2010.

It may be that they are a "drop shipping" business, whereby they only get the goods in once they have a buyer, and don't actually have any stock.

Or, it could all be a scam, including criminals using an innocent legitimate business to front their scam, as has been seen numerous times before.
