Not got the figures at hand, but far better than crop fed AD per hectare, and far less work! AD can produce base load but solar cannot. We are looking at reducing the crop into our AD so it becomes purely slurry, whey and top of silage clamp, and putting PV on the cubicle shed. We would only run the CHP at night and when we need heat.What is the typical size in kw per ha for a solar Park? Also annual production per ha?

We have a small digester, so potentially less efficient than the bigger ones. We get about 400 kWh per tonne of fresh weight crop feedstock (maize, beet, wholecrop etc), we also feed slurry and whey. Maize yield around here is about 16-18 tonnes per acre (if we were a few more miles from the coast could get more!) so 6800 kWh per acre, or 16,800 per hectare. We also get all our heat from that as well, so if PV would have to divert some electricity for heat pumps or other heating.Would be about 2- 250 KWP installed producing approximately 250,000 KWH per year
Today it could produce near 300,000 kwh per year on a new install

Thats very odd! Eon are my best payers by far, it is with me with in 3 days of submitting my FIT reading. Most of the others are at least 10 weeks I think they have to pay in 12That's if you ever get paid for the electricity you generate. Getting money out of E.on is like pulling teeth and Ofgem not of much help either.
But it's covid, you know, and they are doing their best.
