I think they are focussing on the more essential stuff rather than things like lime and melon flavoured Fanta! So yes, I think the supply chain is under strain for whatever reason.



BUT, I doubt we'll be going hungry

plenty of bread at the bakers, plenty of fruit and veg at the veg and fruit shop, there is water in the tap, s market delivery seems to have what else @farmerclare and I want and if they didn't have junk food It would be so much the better, fecking rubbish

I have no regrets about voting for Brexit. Folk in this country are using Brexit as an excuse for anything and everything and conveniently forgetting the labour shortages are evident throughout Europe and North America. Europe is short of truck drivers and veg' pickers too. European supermarkets have shelves with missing goods.
Covid taught folk you can stay at home and be paid or you can demand wages unthinkable two years ago. Europeans had many months to apply for resident status and some did, some didn't, it's not the end of the world. What we really need is a push back from the benefits offices and to see buses picking up folk from queues outside labour exchanges again. Socialist softness has got us where we are not Brexit or a Tory government. 'Woke' has got us where we are, people are the problem not rightwing politics, The Illuminati, Brexit or whatever else folk want to blame that they have read as facts from Farcebook or Twatter..
