A few of last years bucket reared heifers getting a shake of meal to keep them happy. They will be gone in a few weeks, grass is too good at the moment but after the rain this last few days ground is getting soft🌧️

I wish the rain would stay away for another 2 weeks to get grass ate off
I'm from Wales so I know what you mean about the rain!

We've been out of grass for a couple of weeks thanks to the rain, but as it’s so mild they are still out and getting round bales of silage a day.

There is no way I could put out bales. The ground would be too wet. If I can get grass ate it time for the house, every week is a week less grasping silage.

We have traks in most fields so don't make too much mess. Bales we have plenty, straw is something we religiously try to save so the longer they are out the better.
