Aye and therein lies the confusion, coz the case website does mention the dual clutch 'box that's given bother in the rest of the rangeWhen they were released it was cvx only iirc and the case website doesnt mention active 8 but i could be wrong

Presumably we can all ignore the earlier scary post until it's been corroborated though?
Where did you find that? UK spec is definitely CVX only, no option for any other transmission.Aye and therein lies the confusion, coz the case website does mention the dual clutch 'box that's given bother in the rest of the range

Wasn’t an option about a month ago when I was pricing them, although that could of changed since.Aye
Isn't there a Vario and the "active 8" dual clutch options on transmission?
If they've announced a product recall on all versions, it's definitely an "oh shyte" moment for sales, and possibly not just the vestrums in the CNH stable
Replaced Luxxum which was smaller than Maxxum.? is a vestrum a maxum or different alltogether. cannot keep up with all these models.
No it didnt, the luxxum replaced the farmall pro series and is still available. It is totally different than the rest of the cnh lineup as it has a zf tranny, imho its the best offerin from cnh currentlyReplaced Luxxum which was smaller than Maxxum.
I stand corrected. Luxxum a tad too small though. No it didnt, the luxxum replaced the farmall pro series and is still available. It is totally different than the rest of the cnh lineup as it has a zf tranny, imho its the best offerin from cnh currently
The current Luxxum has the SLE box with creeper. It is the equivalent of a NH T5 electrocommand. No it didnt, the luxxum replaced the farmall pro series and is still available. It is totally different than the rest of the cnh lineup as it has a zf tranny, imho its the best offerin from cnh currently
Wrong. It’s a ZF transmission and backendThe current Luxxum has the SLE box with creeper. It is the equivalent of a NH T5 electrocommand.

Yes and no. They use the larger 4.5engine same as the T6 and a bigger cab. But the back end is not as heavy duty as a T6.I thought the vestrum and the larger t5 new hollands were more akin to the previous 4cyl maxxums and t6s. Seeing as the the current trend is to put a 4cyl engine in a tractor the same dimensions as a 6cyl one.
What puts you off the new maxxum?I hope they fix the issue with vestrum recall, I’m patiently waiting for case to release vestrum into Australia as they have stopped manufacturing the short wheelbase cvt maxxum. Anyone know when it’s coming down under
