AHDB talking the job down again


whose side are they on ?

the old "lock into profit" mantra that suit buyers but rally is a winning strategy for farmers ...... bet if we search back they were saying similar this time last year

Their job is to provide analysis, not to ‘talk the job up’. Surely it’s not about taking sides. :rolleyes:

Plenty on here talking about “locking into profit” last year, saying that £160/t for Nov 21 looked good iirc. We are already seeing similar chat about Nov 22 prices, as we do every year.

Never mind AHDB we have the governor of the bank of England doing the
exports a favour.
The pound is now tanking against the euro and dollar.

Was talk of feed barley at £220/t a feed mill offering to keep it going. Not sure what month it was for, or if it was even true.

Might get £250 for my low N malting barley yet...
