Beef / Lamb & Pig Price Tracker

People pay £13 quid for twenty fags when ten years they were probably £6.50 a pack roughly so they have doubled and people still buy them so moaning about the price of food that’s been produced to cheaply by stupid people me included for too long is the reason we HAVE TO BE PAID ALOT MORE ! Who the hell wants to work for nothing whether ur a beef farmer sheep farmer dairy farmer or just work for someone the thing is those days are gone finished ! Food is going to be dearer peiole are going to be paid more overheads will be more it’s the new normal , but the big question is WHY should everyone work for peanuts so Tarquin and family can go to the Caribbean and have two new BMWs on the drive ? No such thing as too much for products now with the way expenses have gone ! Think about it 10 years ago can of coke 40p now it’s like 90p bag of crisps 40p now they are like 90p the rest has gone up time for milk meat etc to all go up a gear als no one will do it !
Amen, brother!!

I think a lot of us probably have a good living out of farming one way or another but if you reckoned up an hourly rate it’s taking the p@ss

And the 90p bag of Crisps will have half as many in it as the 40p bag used to have.
These lambs need to be double price....and for a 25kg lamb instead of a 50kg!

True. I suppose the wife doesn’t want to hear about sheep or cows all night either.
Well I don’t want too hear about whatever crap she’s talking about either really. It’s the same as she was talking yesterday and probably last week! Listen too the fresh stuff for 5 minutes then tune into TFF while the repeats are on!

I wonder how many people who work at Nissan spend time on a car manufacturers forum on a night? For example
Took my son up to play rugby in the playing fields round a big sports centre near Edinburgh a few weekends ago. We got there sharp, umpteen folk in lycra turning up for a workout or to play sport. This must be what folk that don't have sheep to fart about with at the weekend do, I thought...

Yes exactly! The roads are crammed with traffic on Friday afternoon they are all going home! That’s them done until Monday again. Not like knocking off on a Sunday night then starting again on a Monday morning

Aye, mowing the lawn Saturday, wash the car Sunday. I can feel my soul dissolving at the thought..

Bloke at the end of our lane, mid 30’s washes his car Saturday morning, and has been known too so it again Sunday afternoon! I could understand it if it was dirty but he might only go into the office 2/3 days a week! Rest of the time he’s in his home office! When I get that short of something too do. Shoot me.

Mine is lucky to get a wash in a calendar year. A heavy shower keeps it respectable.
