Spending bills will often be portrayed as in this case extra funding for the police but in reality contain a lot of unrelated spending that the opposition party is ideologically opposed to. This is done in the hope that the opposition won't oppose it for fear of the bad press.
Except this package is purely for extra police funding across the USA and not part of another package

I live within 200 miles of Rittenhouse and do not comprehend what happened. Someone in another country with a different culture has all the answers! Strange times we live in!
I lived in a county in the hills of Tennessee where they were proud of the fact that they had no black people in the county yet they were the nicest and friendliest people you could wish to meet. I'd agree totally that we have a different culture. I'd say though if people in the UK had easy access to guns and ammunition then our cultures might start to match up as I can see some on here quite keen to head to the cities with their ARs to sort out some Vegans and other deviants.

I haven't seen one person who has said they want to "sort" out either group, nor have they wished to have an automatic rifle, however several including myself support the view that we should be able to defend our own property, that is completely different.

There is a world of difference between defending ones , life, family, property even neighbours, and going hundreds of miles, to sort out other peoples issues.

He wasnt defending his own property though, was he? That is the whole point! A 17 year old kid managed to get a gun that wasnt even his,and then crossed several County lines looking for trouble, when he shouldnt have been anywhere near the place.A complete idiot, and would have been told before hand that the verdict could go either way.He was very lucky.I dont buy that fake hyper ventillating stuff either in court when the verdict was given. With his boyish looks he would have been a magnet for every conceivable abuse in prison.

What on earth has any of that drivel got to do with people behaving like black (Italy) or brown (Germany) shirts in the inter war period?

The vigilantes behaved exactly blackshirts, but with more guns.

Whereas the BLM rioters were not behaving like "Blackshirts" ? Who are you trying to kid ?

25 killed in Left Wing riots, god knows how many injured and lots of property burnt and looted.

But you want to pick on a 17 year old.

The Left are mentally ill.

Not a single post blaming the BLM rioters or Democrats.

The pretense at being impartial is hilariously idiotic.

The 17 year old child would not have been there but for Left Wing politics.

I don't think the actions of the rioters or whoever are in question here nor is anyone condoning what they had done. I don't believe civil disobedience of torching and looting other people's property is a solution to political issues. Such behaviour is appalling and not what one expects from first world democracies.

You appear to be suggesting that the ideal solution to violent mobs is for citizens to take up arms and kill them by using lethal force? Exactly which country are you using as the inspiration for this new form of government?

It‘s such a shame, you weren’t in loco parentis to Senator Joseph McCarthy, back in the day. You two, would have been a right pair. Commies to the left, lefties to the right, yeehaw go get ‘em boy….

Oh look, it's a member of the country which didn't bother to fight "Right Wingers" in WW2 but thinks they have the right to tell everyone else what to do.

How's the Catholic Faith doing these days ?

Some reports state that Rittenhouse only lived a mile from the state line he actually crossed?
If anyone had even bothered to look a map the state line goes through Kenosha ....His father , grandmother lives in Kenosha ...he lives in a"village " 3 or 4 miles away , over the state line but looking on the map it's the next door settlement ...

I appear ? I seem ? Perhaps you should stop imagining things ?

I see you've caught the disease of making something up, saying someone said it and then castigating them for it. Dream on.

How you can justify writing that when you're first sentance was on the ball about rioters - which should be dealt with by the Police and Politics - and then advocate shooting rioters instead ?

No I don't seem.

But I don't care if Left Wingers who "seem" very stupid die - what do they call it ? Ah yes, Darwinism.

You mean a vigilante mob is not the solution to a rioting mob?

Who knew?

It is in the face of Left Wing hatred, aggression and rioting.

In fact in the face of "Defund the Police" what exactly do the Left Wing nutters think was going to happen ?

Good riddance to criminals and it cannot come soon enough.

I do apologise I have misunderstood your meaning. I am glad you have clarified your stance in your most recent post though: you aren't worried if people with political beliefs different from your own are killed by acts of violence. We get it now.

We expelled Sasanachs from our soil. Needed to take a bit of a breather after that. Got to pace ones self, you know.
