Because the charge was arbitrary , the stuff was my own possessions , f**k all to do with the douanes ,

But france are on a mission .... take more than a jobsworth to beat me
It's irrelevant whose goods they are and who they are going to, they are crossing a border from a third country, as such a charge would have to be levied on them as they would for goods entering from any other third country, why is it so difficult to understand? Global Britain :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The charge would be applied in every EU country. Third country rules.
If I send goods to the EU or the UK I have to pay import fees, which could be a simple levy or VAT, I send Christmas presents to the UK and have to pay fees when the land in the UK, quite understandable really and I can claim the GST back on an export so works out about the same. You just need to understand the rules and stop whinging about perceived missions Jonny foreigner is allegedly on and stop expecting special treatment.

Brexiteer Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS chemicals is to shut down his factory in Teeside because his customer BASF has found an alternative supplier inside the EU to make plastic car parts.

That would be the same politicians that got Brexit done !
I would say it's politicians of all sorts that cause problems , the ones that undermined 4 years of negotiations in us finally leaving did this country no favours at all & should be throughly ashamed of themselves & have ended up putting us in a far worse position then was needed!

And then there is the politicians who over the last few decades through their arrogance helped create a EU that more than half of voters that could be bothered to vote didn't want the UK to be part of, they did this country no favors at all and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves and they have ended up putting us in a far worse position than was needed.

But non of this is destroying Britain, that's just silly talk
