The original battery on our TM320S was replaced under warranty in the first year we owned the machine, when we had issues with the cold engine cranking throwing up error codes. The diagnostics showed low voltage when the engine turns over for extended time before starting. This did not solve the problem and a few other things were changed as well, including starter motor, earthing straps around cab and chassis. The problem now is that after another 4 years the battery on the machine is knackered again, not helped by the dealer coming to service the machine at 2000 hours and leaving the radio and ignition on all day long with his laptop plugged in which meant it needed jump starting at the end of the day to get it back in the shed. Are these JCB batteries generally not good enough? Our Fendt tractor has only just needed a battery on it after 9 years and 6000 hours. Do we replace with a higher amp/hour battery?
