All seed originated from the merchant trade, therefore royalty has been paid. Alabaster has been sown elsewhere this autumn no problems. Are you a trade member?

No I’m not trade I’m a farmer who
Knows the rules. Would I buy seed off a farmer that was 2019 production, NO.
if I had my own 2019 seed would I drill it without a proper germination test, NO.
Seed purchased from a merchant on which royalty paid or HSS on which royalty paid are you allowed to sell it on farm to farm, NO.
Any other questions? 🤣🤣🤣👍

I am sure you must be the one farmer who is always compliant and truthful at ACCS inspections then?

Off course, aren’t we all?👍

You carry on but with details you have posted on a public forum you are making yourself an easy target for BSPB.
I don’t agree with how they run the rules for small lots unused moved between farms but there’s little point in hoisting a flag and saying “here I am” 😉

What do you think the rules should be then, I think as long as royalty is paid that is the most important thing from BSPB,s POV. I
am all for seeing the seed breeder get their rightful reward . What is to be gained by gold plating the "rules" as it seems to be doing?

In this day an age you would think it would be much better to be able to sell a small unused quantity to other farms as long as you had proof of orgional purchase instead of disposal or landfill or whatever. However you are dealing with people who don;t think like that.

Who knows? It's this kind of things that foster a "them" and us culture. It should be allowed, but it isn't.
