I don't believe any UK government has the ability or willingness to do anything about immigration, it will continue until the cities become Islamic, then there will be an Islamic political party. If you doubt that this will happen read this piece about a pupil rebellion to take down the Union flag at a school, and realise that in 20-30 years time these school kids and others like them will be grown up and some will be in government

If your genuine asylum seeker, you claim asylum in the first safe country you come to.
Not go right across Europe then camp on channel waiting for your turn on a boat.
And what do you base this on? Perhaps you should have a look at the history of asylum seeking, particularly in the second world war when such people were tolerated passing through countries like Switzerland, Spain etc, but only in the knowledge they were moving on to countries where they would be welcome. Even then we were not overwelcoming!

Too late much too late. They’re already in charge. The country is being run by the children of immigrants Priti Patel, Rishi Sinai , Sajid Javid et Al. And even worse the man in charge is the great grandson of a Turkish Moslem asylum seeker. The fifth columnists are amongst us.
oh and my daughter starts her internship in the House of Lords next year with a peer who was born in Uganda. We are overrun already.

More recently in 2015 when the EU was battling with the migrant crises in the Med. The then Tory government declined to help the other EU members saying it wasn't their problem.

How is it that when a fish swims from France to England it becomes becomes a 'British fish and happier for it' automatically but when people cross from France to England the English don't want them?

If you were a genuine asylum seeker, would you risk 3 grand and you life on a dodgy boat to cross the Channel or would you claim asylum in France or other country you come to first.
After all I am sure any European country will seem geat to where they run away from.
Why live in a shanty town waiting for a chance across the channel when could claim asylum and booked after in France?
