If they would take a bit less margin out of them it would sell
There I agree with you. We buy most of our meat from Keelham farm shop next to Skipton Auction Mart now, stop in on my way to Gisburn on a Saturday. It’s cheaper than a supermarket and much better quality/choice of cuts except the steaks which are a bit lean for my taste. I assume it still all comes from auctions at a much higher price than d/w stock since the two brothers went separate ways. The place is heaving at nine in the morning and shelves are soon cleared

It's a fair spot is that one at Skipton always good meat and plenty of choice of everything, always busy. I've not been since they went separate, not sure where this one gets meat from now, used to get a fair bit from Thirsk don't think this one does now, James still gets some from Thirsk and Selby.

How are you coping with the weather? I had my quad bike stolen Thursday night/Friday morning.Couldnt have come at a worse time. Looks like i have lost a big Texel tup lamb under a fallen Beech tree.Cant even get in there to remove it.Guess it could have been worse and more of them. Trees down all over, the bigger they were, the more of them.
