Grant eligible direct drills

On my fields that I was happy with the position of the tramlines I drilled at an angle and didn’t bother putting new tramlines in. I don’t have auto steer on the sprayer but last spring I could still faintly see the old tramlines to follow
This the reason I had auto steer fitted to the sprayer, after several years of cross drilling and no tramlines, by spring in many field I could no longer see the permanent t lines.

Which is in effect, a price increase by the back door, is it not? Surely Dec, Jan, June & July are the out of season months?
Out-of-season happens like clockwork every year, not just because there is a grant coming in. They are to try and encourage dealers to carry stock for the coming season to take the pressure off the manufacturers, we usually get the choice of whether delivery is Jan/Feb or June/July but I think this year it will be simply "it arrives when it arrives" with components shortages. Usually these delivery slots line up with manufacturers slack periods, as we in the UK are only a small proportion of their trade, with the whole of Europe having varying seasons, like the south of Spain will be vastly different to eastern Europe and different again in northern Europe, and it all depends on what other machines their factories produce that may have different busy periods.

So when is 'out of season' then James?

Hi, if you want to get in touch please visit our website! We would be glad to help, many thanks. https://www.tritondrillsales.co.uk/
I've just had a look around your website, and followed your link to Triton's, and watched a few of the videos.

Do you have any pics/vids that show anything more than rarving great tractors dragging what looks like a cultivator through wet clag? ie a camera sat on a drill frame in action, or some detailed shots of seed placement or slot closure? A trench dug cross over the rows showing a cross section of what is happening underground after a month or so of bad weather after being drilled in claggy conditions would show us much more about what can be achieved than endless drone videos of big fuel guzzling tractors chewing on in inclement conditions.
