Storm Arwen

Well was windy and wet here this morning and then late aft early evening was actually dry and calm and i was thinking that was it. Blowing well now and kin wet!

I will be glad to see day light,it’s been a bloody long night listening to the wind literally screaming through the yard,I think it’s definitely stronger than last weeks storm but blowing a different direction so hopefully damage will be minimal 🤞

It's nice to get in tractor when power off! Heater on, radio. Phone charging. Lights.

Two weeks ! Ffs 🤦‍♀️
Unfortunately our electric has blown down past the meter so it’s our responsibility…we have now decided to bury the cables deep underground Instead of being suspended in the air, we have bought the cable and dug it in and now the electrician is coming to connect it up but what with the very short days and a lot of stock feeding it’s been a slow job. Hopefully we will be back with electric this week but it certainly makes you appreciate how lucky we are to live with such luxuries as warm water and instant electric

Get a change over switch fitted and buy a generator ! Problem solved
