Questions about Broken Drill Press from DTO

Just got my drill press and the front was broken. This thing needed just about everything calibrated on it, everything was way out of whack (spring needed to be re-seated, motor was all crooked, etc), but it does work, and works well. Likely a lot of this was due to shipping, it was packed ... well ... not so well.

I was hesitant to buy factory reconditioned because up until now I've only bought New or Factory Blemished, but they only had reconditioned and thing was $ 97 after the 25% off they had a week or two ago so I had to jump on it. I don't think I'll be doing it again.

Few questions:

I emailed DTO, is there a better way to handle this with them?

What should I expect them to do here? It can't be cost-effective to ship the thing back ...

If I end up stuck with this thing and end up having to source parts for it, where should I go for those?
