no such thing as a 'bank' these days.....just big computers that you put data in OR wait in a long que at a local branch for the sole remaining employee to do:(
Well I know what you mean. I perhaps should have phrased the question differently.
I guess I mean which App is the best and which Bank was more likely to loan to Farmers!

I'm with HSBC but I found AMC the best for getting a loan organised. I never actually borrowed anything in the end but they were the most helpful.

If you need a fixed loan or mortgage we find AMC the best and just use the local building society for the rest but they won’t do overdrafts if that’s what you need .

Do you have a Relationship Manager? Also is the APP easy to use. Sorry I know these sound strange questions but we went with STARLING and found our Accountant can't get Access to their Accounts Software plus App doesn't generate Receipts + no one specifically deals with business Accounts.

My late Father used AMC so I'll try them I think. They are owned by Lloyds so I think I will see if anyone banks with them also

We use Virgin money. Used to be Clydesdale.

According to our bank manager, they consider themselves a agricultural bank. Haven't had any issues with them.
I'm with Yorkshire, now Virgin I'd be lyoy if it said I hadn't had issues with them but everytime I've discussed potential future investment they have been very amenable haven't actually borrowed anything off them yet. They have also stuck with me through some very lean times in the past.

Does anyone on here have experience of partial amortising loans, where the loans are on a long term 20/25 year profile but the agreement is only for 5 years and full reviews after this period?

I've used asset finance a lot, when I was buying wagons they almost invariably beat the manufacturers own finance companies, when my next grain cheque cones in I will be overdraft free, for a short while. For the first time in a lot of years.
