Yeah we do this a lot especially in very stoney stuff slower rotor speed lets the stones pass through. As long as you're deep enough the discs will put the seed away

165hp with 4m press on front as well
I have a 4m press on front. I find it easier to pull and using less diesel/ha. I don’t need to put the harrow deep enough to eradicate wheelings with the press on front.
What 4m combi are you running on 165hp? Lifting it must be an issue

TMs are well known for having a massive lift capacity
If you drive too fast or rotor is too slow you get the soil moved like the right. Could create uneven establishment. As long as seed in the right place with enough moisture to start to grow then it doesn’t matter.
4m sulky, disc coulters with a ton of seed here makes a puma 200 pretty twitchy on the nose end, the new 4m folding front press last season balances it well now tho
