Wow, you produce more than an artic load of milk a day. How many do you milk? How big is your buffer tank?
We don’t, we produce more than an artic every two days so they’d need to send two tankers to gather it. We’d have thick end of 35-40000 litres to lift if they collected EOD. Milking 650. Our buffer tank is what used to be our main bulk tank so our total capacity is 16000+26000 now with the new one.

I have a friend from my collage days sending 55,000 litres a day.
Totally housed obviously, with a rotary that never stops, last time I spoke with him I think he was planning to reach 2000 cows.

Push on that man. Our rotary is hopefully going to be finished by the end of the year (and stop occasionally 😂). Aiming for about 1000 cows I reckon but since apparently everyone ever invented is allergic to serving with anything other than sexed semen I don’t imagine it will ever stop 🙈

Sorry if I am behind with this news .

sorry I had jumped back 3 months without realising, no idea how.

Just thought it was the standard @Sid slagging off Arla even thought they have really positive news post 😂

I was stating what was in a market report.

The policy has a cost implication for those not using dairy sexed semen or a stock bull.

Leave @Sid alone he’s up against it in the current climate

I made that point very very clear to a director today I can tell you!
